Fully managed, or dedicated

A fully managed device is the whole device under management: a work phone, a floor tablet, a shared handset. A dedicated device exists to do a single job and is locked to it — the check-in screen, the menu board, the till. Blapex asks which a group is when you create it, so each gets the management model that suits it.

Enrolled without touching the device

Zero-touch assigns devices to Blapex at the reseller, so they enrol themselves the first time they are switched on. Samsung Knox does the same for Knox-eligible hardware. Where neither applies, a QR code from the setup wizard enrols a device in about as long as it takes to scan it.

Whichever path a device takes, it arrives carrying its policy — apps, restrictions, network, launcher — with no manual configuration between the box and the counter.

Policies compiled from blueprints

The blueprint you write is compiled into an Android Enterprise policy and assigned through Google. Apps come from managed Google Play. Reassigning a blueprint reapplies the policy on the spot, so a correction reaches the fleet while you are still looking at it.

Android TV, not just phones

Android TV enrols and takes policy like any other Android device. For a property running televisions in every room, that is the difference between a fleet and a hundred separate remote controls.
